In the wardrobe a business suit hung side-by side with a doeskin coat, and on the floor black leather lace-ups sat next to mocassins, etc.. In the kitchen and other places they showed the same mix of First Nation and Settler artefacts. Visitors were encouraged to think beyond the 'traditional way of life' stereotype usually presented in museums.
