On a continuing basis, the Assistant will coordinate production of membership communications and provide support for organizing special events for members. The Assistant will also serve as liaison between FMCH and UCLA Public Affairs Information System (PAIS) support staff, coordinating access for the Museum and participating in required training. Clerical support for ongoing grant-related development will account for forty percent of job responsibilities. This work will include assisting with filing, correspondence, compiling proposal appendices, and coordinating paperwork with the Office of Contract and Grant Administration. The Membership and Development Assistant reports to the Director of Development. The Development Department reports to the Deputy Director of the Museum.
