I am looking for references, charters, conventions, theory & practice
and case studies on the above, partially for research purposes and
partially in relation to the protection of a particular site. Also
personal definitions of what would constitute an historic landscape
would be most interesting.
The site in question is a deserted medieval village/township. Any
case studies illustrating appropriate excavation medhodology for
ephermial remains of house plots, platforms etc. would be
relevant.
