Stanley, I have been compiling a list of almost all the artsresources out there on the WWW and would like to share this information with you. The list includes museums, galleries, commercial art galleries, publications, institutions and governments and so on the address for this information is: http://www.cgrg.ohio-state.edu/Newark/artsres.html this can easily be accessed through any web browser, and many of the pages are loading fast enough to access through a modem from a pc and a slip connection. i saw somewhere that people are developing software so that one does not need to have the tcp/ip (sip connection) to use a WWW browser. if you need more help let me know markus kruse >I am also interested in museums and the internet. I will be helping the >staff of the Walker Art Center become comfortable with SLIP based tools >and compiling a list of favorite sites to visit for art museum staffers. > >The best experience for me has been subscribing to listservers, along >with the ability to use e-mail for 1 10 1 and 1 to many messaging. > >Please send to me any pointers for great web sites, or places where FAQ have >been already posted.
