Cultural Dynamics is being published by SAGE Publications from March 1995. The journal's editors are Rik Pinxten, University of Gent; David Scott, University of Chicago; Frank van Dun, University of Maastricht. It is a journal committed to a relational and dynamic account of socio-cultural phenomena, explicitly resisting the conventional static models that have dominated much of the discourse in this area. Cultural Dynamics is a thoroughly interdisciplinary journal which moves well beyond cultural and social anthropology to include work from sociology, psychology, philosophy, communication studies and any other areas that shed light on socio-cultural phenomena. The journal draws upon an international spectrum of high quality material. It offers both empirical and theoretical contributions that represent major areas of research and debate around the world.
