Am I right in assuming that Compuserve can access all Internet email lists? And that the converse isn't true (ie those with direct connections can't access Compuserve forums)? Am I missing something, or doesn't it make sense for ASTC to set up its own listserv, which people could get to, with minimal problem, through Compuserve or AOL or Delphi, or direct Internet connection? So, explain again what the advantage of ASTC being on Compuserve, as opposed to an Internet listserv, is? I mean, even if it takes some command line gobbledygook to get to a listserv from the online services, does ASTC really think that we're not up to it? Anyway, I think ASTC is a wonderful organization, the Garden is a member in good standing, and I get the impression that the ASTC people spent alot of time considering their options for getting online. I just don't follow the logic. Eric Siegel [log in to unmask]
