Many pardons if this observation is simplistic: For a satisfactory construction project, make sure that the museum's project manager can read construction drawings. It's a modest skill, rapidly learned by the minimally astute. It is the language of con- struction. Real-life proverb: I once lamented to a Japanese friend how frustrating it must be that all Japanese know some English but few from the US know any Japanese. He replied, "We don't mind at all.
