Many science museums and science centers have interactive exhibits on
bridge construction, including the Structures traveling exhibit developed
by The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia (also traveled by the Association
of Science Technology Centers in Washington D.C.) and the large-scale
interactive bridge models at Liberty Science Center in New Jersey.

One of Ken Burns' earlier films was on the Brooklyn Bridge, done I think for
the Bridge's centennial. It's in much the same style as his Civil War
series and has a lot of great information.

And then of course there's the famous footage of Galloping Gertie, the
Tacoma Narrows Bridge, as it shook itself to pieces. I don't know where
to get it, but it's a classic....
