Institutional Studies =20 Subject: CALL FOR CARE PROGRAM PROPOSALS! =20 Do you have an idea for a session about museum audience research & evaluation? Of course you do! CARE hope to submit at least 15 quality= proposals to the AAM Program Committee for consideration for the 1995 Annual Me= eting. To reach that goal, we need your help! =20 For the JULY 1, 1994 deadline we need preliminary proposals -- don't = worry if a ll the speakers are not confirmed, the analysis is not completed or the = ideas are in a formative stage.... =20 Some of the recent discussion on Museum-L about gender issues, authen= ticity, etc. could become great sessions -- if it is related to audience rese= arch & evaluation (theory, methods, or results). =20 As you develop your session, remember the 1995 theme "Educating for t= he Future." Remember that only museum or academic staff can chair sessio= ns. When an independent consultant is a panelist, there must be another independent consultant on the panel as well so there is "balance." A= ll proposa ls are reviewed by the CARE program committee and the AAM Program commit= tee. =20 If you have any questions, want to discuss a program idea, or get a c= opy of the program proposal form, contact: =20 Zahava D.
