Call for Contributors: Encyclopedia of American Material Culture

Seeking contributors for the Encyclopedia of American Material
Culture,to be published in 2006 by ABC-CLIO. The Encyclopedia, with 100+ entries, aims to address the history, theory, practice, trends, and "stuff" of American material culture studies.

Assigned entries will be due from August 15 to October 1, depending on the length and complexity of each. Individual scheduling can be arranged if an author is completing a large number of entries. Entry length will vary from 500 to 2,000 words. All contributors receive a small honorarium.

Interested scholars, professionals, and advanced graduate students should contact via email the editors, Helen D. Sheumaker and Shirley Wajda, for a list of remaining entries.
