Hi Gail, In most cases we allow photography throughout our building. We do not allow flash (for conservation and the disruption of contemplation reasons) and we do not allow tripods (for disruption of traffic flow reasons). Also, we believe that, in theory, a hand held photo taken without flash in the lower level of gallery lighting will not be of good enough quality to reproduce in violation of our copyrights. Sometimes, in our short term exhibit gallery, we exhibit a travelling exhibit that allows no photography and we enforce that. Also, we host a yearly juried quilters and woodworkers exhibit where we prohibit all photography for the protection of the artist's designs and copyrights.
