There are several companies that produce top-rate equipment for audio-visual kiosks and displays. For audio I would highly recommend "Stop and Listen." This Canadian firm has a variety of reliable digital audio recording devices for indoor and outdoor use. Another firm that is good is Brown Innovations of Chicago. This company specializes in sound domes and other special speaker arrangements. Finally, 3M makes several different touchscreen monitors. The contact information for each of the companies follows: www.stoplisten.com www.browninnovations.com There are any number of outlets for the 3M monitors. A quick Google search will give you all you'd ever want. >From: Cathi Hahner <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: Museum discussion list <[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Interactive Audio Visual units >Date: Sat, 5 Jun 2004 22:26:23 -0500 > >I would appreciate any recommendations for suppliers of interactive audio >visual equipment for exhibit use. > >Thanks, >Cathi > >========================================================= >Important Subscriber Information: > >The Museum-L FAQ file is located at >http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
