We take 35 mm photos of our installations. We also put on cd all files
including emails relating to an exhibition. We are currently debating
whether we should do this for guest curated exhibits, but my thought is
that if we have the space that we might as well. They can work to help
interns learn the inter-workings of exhibit development for all types of
exhibits, help to answer questions that come up much later about a
particular exhibit, serve as training tools for new employees, etc. We are
even pulling an old in house exhibit and displaying part of it again in a
smaller gallery. It was a very popular exhibit, we won some awards for it,
and its message is still relavent today. Also, I pulled some photographs
and graphics from an old exhibit to help supplement a temp exhibit that was
smaller than anticipated. It all actually went together quite well.

Hope this is helpful.
