Big Red is actually a "lemon" cream soda (I'm pretty certain) that is colored BRIGHT red-- it was invented in Waco, Texas (as was Dr Pepper) and is still made today. From what I have known, it is a favorite of Texans... everyone outside of Texas (including myself) thinks it tastes like liquid bubble gum. Here is a brief synopsis about the sweet drink if anyone is curious: http://www.texasmonthly.com/ranch/readme/bigred.php Jennessa Reed >From: Heather-Marie Wells <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: Museum discussion list <[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Big Red drinks... >Date: Mon, 26 Apr 2004 23:20:46 -0500 > >Hey Liz, > >Is that a strawberry drink that has a hog or something like that as the >logo?
