It took years for us to overcome a one-time use of "rotating" exhibits. Far too many people expected something spinning around, like a merry-go-round, or a microwave oven. Try "changing exhibits" or "special exhibits," perhaps. For example, "space for special exhibits where the ___ Museum will bring objects from the far reaches of the world to your doorstep." If that's what you're doing. Or, "Space dedicated to our ever-changing landscape illustrated by special exhibits based on the museum's own collections." Don't know what your mission is, but you should be able to tie this "special opportunity" space directly to it in a sentence or two.

“Rotating exhibits” is one possibility.

Subject: Museum Brochure - language

Greetings Everyone,

We are designing a temp. brochure to introduce our new museum to the community.

Immersive Exhibits

(Temporary Exhibitions)

Special Programs

Education Center/Website

I need assistance describing our 'temporary exhibition space' in 2-3 sentences. I don't want to use that wording on the brochure so any creative suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Shiree Dyson
