Our maintenance man has a lighting proposal for CF bulbs. The bulb spec sheet lists three categories 1. Ultra violet Radiation- Micro watts/cm2/1000lx (250-380nm) 2. Harmful UV radiation ACGIH (JIS Z8812)-Micro watts/cm2/1000lx (250-320nm) 3. Discoloration coefficient D/E (290-735nm) Ranges for the various bulbs go from 1.4 to 14.4 for category #1; 0.00 to 0.02 for category #2 and; 0.011 to 0.416 for category #3. What exactly am I being told here? I've gone back through some of my (old) notes and poked around a bit on the web-I just not sure if I should believe a saleman who is telling my guy that there's no significant UV here for an exhibition application. Any help/advice appreciated. ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
