Mold is a constant threat to collections, particularly in climates with high heat humidity. This full day workshop focuses on identifying mold, the types of damage it causes to collection materials, and techniques for safe mold removal and cleaning. Dr. Michael Trinkley, Director of the Chicora Foundation is the instructor for this session. Cost is $105 SOLINET Members ($95 early bird, $130 late registration), and $145 Non-SOLINET, ($135 early bird, $170 late registration). Any institution within South Carolina qualifies for the member rate.
