I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to share information regarding sick time and vacation policies. We are currently in the process of reevaluating our policies and could use input from other museums. Here are their questions: 1. Do employees of your museum receive vacation after one year of service, or do they begin accumulating hours at each pay period? 2. How many vacation days per year for professional salaried staff and non-professional hourly staff does your museum provide? 3. Do you accumulate vacation and sick days year after year, and if so, what is the maximum amount of time an employee can "bank"? What is paid out at separation?
