The Homestead Museum in California has used a variety of different admission
methods, from hand stamps to buttons to wrist straps, for their special
events. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Contact Alexandra
Rasic, the Public Programs Manager, at (626) 968-8492 for their latest
experiences, as well as a list of vendors (I think they're favoring wrist
straps).

Subject: Admission buttons

The Nantucket Historical Association is considering replacing the paper
ticketing system we currently use at our Whaling Museum with metal or
plastic admission buttons. I'm interested in hearing from colleagues who
currently use admission buttons. Have listers had positive experiences with
certain vendors? Is it necessary or preferable to use different colored
buttons for different days?

Best regards,
