Second, see Ellis Burcaw's Introduction to Museum Work. It is a good basic book. Other ideas are any of Edward Alexander's books and the Leicester Museum Studies program (I think) publishes a series of books on all sorts of museum-related topics. Try the AAM bookstore, globalmuseum, or other such places, if you want to find these books. Hope this helps.
