Dear Teri,

I hope you remember me.  I put together the kids exhibit for CAM's celebrations last year.  I've moved to the LA area and no longer work for Wells Fargo so I just have a few questions for you.  First, I am trying to finish up my master's degree and would like to do a creative work project instead of a thesis--I was wondering if you and CAM need assistance with any upcoming projects that I may be able to help with to receive credit.  Second, I'm looking for work and wondered if CAM had any openings or if you knew of anything opening up at the Bowers.  Please let me know if you have recommendations or suggestions about the above, especially if you need someone to help you with a work project.

Thanks in advance for your time.  I hope all is well with the CAM festivities this year.

Sincerely,

Alana Paratore

>As part of California Museum Month, CAM is organizing a one-day special event on the state capitol grounds in Sacramento on Wednesday, May 29th from 11AM to 5PM. CAM members are invited to set up a tabletop display introducing their museum, on a 6-foot, skirted table at NO charge. CAM will sponsor an afternoon reception for legislators to come and meet each museum and to honor Senator Dede Alpert as she presents Senate Resolution 165 declaring May as California Museum Month. In addition, the Cammy Award will be presented to Senator Richard Alarcón for his contributions to CAM’s ongoing legislative efforts.
