Greetings: My organization has an accessions policy in place, but when it came to approving some revisions, my board balked. Some of the members question the importance of such a policy, or would like sections of it removed and treated separately. In particular the section they find troublesome is our long-term loan/repository conditions. They represent member organizations that would be affected by this policy. I am looking for sources or specific experiences that could help educate my board on this matter. Thanks for any help you can give.
