We have found some plaster in one of our convict-period
buildings which has hair in it as a binding agent. It is very fine and appears
to be human - it is definitely not pig, horse or cow. We know that
convicts and soldiers had regular haircuts. Does anyone know if we can have it
analysed to find out about diet and disease - and maybe other things? Who
does such work, preferably in
