Hello Ms Hughes. What an interesting program for your Kitchen Conference. I truly wish that I could attend, and I would venture to suppose that I am not the only one who would like to be there. Unfortunately travelling to Delaware prevents me from coming in November. Still, WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO PROCURE PROCEEDING FROM THIS WORKSHOP??? What a perfect project for an intern or volunteer.... to transcribe taped sessions and distribute them to an appreciative audience! Any chance my wish will come true and the proceedings will arrive at my front door? I hope so... Please send my copy to the address below. All the best for what appears to be a successful event. Laura PS If I were able to attend, I would ask: Has anyone studied the nature and importance of the "heart of the household" in terms of families? What I mean is, has someone traced the food history traditions within one family or from generation to generation? For example, I could identify Victorian practices, recipes and tools that remain a part of my kitchen. Just curious. L.W.S.
