I am writting from Portugal and I have too tried to study In the Uk. For me the biggest problem was not being a english native speaker which obliged me to do veyry difficault language tests. For what I noticed, it is very difficult to enter a a UK University becuase they receive students from all over the world, so you are not competing just with english students.
