The Lake County Museum in the north suburbs of Chicago, home of the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, is offering two 12-month full-time, paid, graduate level internships to begin August 15. We are looking for versatile individuals who like working with people and like working in a fast-paced environment. An interest in photography, reference and collection projects, and exhibition coordination is preferred for candidates interested in the Collections Internship. Those interested in the Visitor Services Internship should have experience conducting school and public programs and tours. Requirements include past museum experience and/or a bachelors degree in museum studies, education, history, or a related field. Graduate work or degree preferred. The Lake County Museum is a department of the Lake County Forest Preserves, an equal opportunity employer. Annual salary is approximately $15,600 at $8 an hour.
