I do want to ask, why are professors considered so
lowly? I thought teaching was a noble position. I
know I for one enjoy teaching because I enjoy sharing
my knowledge with others. This is sort of why I am in
this problem. On the one hand is the PHD on the other
is a degree that I can add a teaching certificate with
great ease.
I thank Eva for pointing out that it is not 9 hours a
week. Most of my professors work much more than that
(not including side projects, which I intend to take
full advantage of).
But I do hear you Christopher. This is my problem.
Thank you all for weighing in. I have a feeling this
is going to be a tougher decision than I can imagine
(I just wish one would pay for me and make it easy! If
only there was such a world!)
Thanks,
Aaron
