There has been a very recent debate on this issue on the list ( see LIST
ARCHIVES ) but I think in principle many people had a sympathy for those who
were enthusiastically attempting to find employment within the profession -
after all we all had to at some stage. Surely it's a question of moderation
( literally and figuratively!). A brief inquiry is not problematic whereas
a full length resume on the list would be quite another matter. No doubt
there are list members who disagree with this position but for myself, I
prefer to encourage such enthusiasm.
