I have written about museum mansion a few weeks ago. I would like to thank
those who responded to the mail. A few people ointed out that the use of
the term "mansion" was a bit confusing(thank you for telling me). I sent
a reply to the list after I received the mails, but something must have
gone wrong, as it doesn't look like it got posted. If this is a duplicate
posting, please accept my apologies.
What I meant by "museum mansion" means something like Museum Tower which
MOMA constructed next door. What I would like to ask is what kind of
priviledge the residence have as well as the contents of give-and-take
relations between the museum and the residence. Do the big donors live
there in return?
Thank you very much for your attention.
