How about looking into Charles Willson Peale (1741 - 1827), whose
collections grew to become the first natural history museum in the United
States?  If you plug his name into any search engine, you will find lots of
info:  he was an artist, a naturalist, an inventory and lots else!  Yes,
that middle name really does have two LLs in it!
