Let's please not confuse the preference for a certain tool with a
particular design aesthetic or sensibility. I use Dreamweaver and
prefer it for its flexibility, not because I intend to include every
bell & whistle possible on every page, but becuase I have the range
of options available to me. We all can point to horrid pages that
are poorly designed. I daresay many have been hand coded (the
simplest tool of all).
There are solid technical and workflow reasons why some people don't
find FrontPage up to the task. That includes the fact that FP writes
very messy code and that some designers need more flexibility. That's
not to say, as Mr. Linza ponts out, that it's useless for everyone or
all situations.
