The next Museums Council of New York meeting will be on Monday, September 27
at the Children's Museum of Manhattan. CMOM is at 212 West 83rd Street.

The meeting will begin at 5:45 with a curator's tour of two new exhibitions.
The first is Word Play, for the youngest visitors, which will be interesting
for MCNY members working to attract family audiences. The second exhibition,
Body Oddysey, offers a walk through the blood tunnel or the opportunity to
climb a giant tongue and work your way through the digestive system.

And you will certainly be hungry after that voyage...so the tour will be
followed by dinner, a short business meeting and time to socialize and visit
the remaining galleries of CMOM.

CMOM has recently undergone a renovation and expansion, and is well worth
the visit.

If you are plan to come, please send a check for $25/participant to Amy
Fischetti, Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral
Park, NY 11004. Please include your name, institution, and title. If you
have any questions, please email me or call Amy at (718) 347-3276 x 13.
