And who can forget Matchbox Cars! Sasha dolls, Snoopy, Easy Bake Oven, all
the myriad "award-winning" educational infant toys, dress-up clothes (the
pre-packaged kind... There's a good book called "Children in the House:
300 years of Childhood in America" that talks about the change childhood
material culture, which might provide some insteresting insights...
