In examining various internship application procedures, I've noticed
that many require an essay, and some specify that the
essay should include a discussion of abilities/skills and interests.
Now...by 'interests'...does this include hobbies, or more scholarly
or museum-oriented pursuits? Ideally, I know, one's hobbies
will include an active interest in one's field. But should I or
shouldn't I mention that I enjoy sewing and swing music (for
example)?
Thank you!
