The Tech Museum of Innovation
Technology Instructor (full time)

The Technology Instructor will organize and perform instructor and technical
duties to coordinate planning, implementation and assessment of the multimedia
programs for The Tech's Idea Lab.

Responsibilities

- Acquire knowledge and understanding of Tech policies and procedures and apply
this knowledge to online program design and coordination
- Plan and develop administration procedures for program implementation
- Design instruments and procedures to collect, analyze and report data on
program assessment for the Idea Lab
- Maintain and and provide technical support for computers and peripherals in
the Idea Lab
- Contribute to concept and program development to serve current and new
audiences
- Provide direct instruction for the Idea Lab
- Assist with proposal development, preparation, implementation and reporting
- Conduct research and prepare reports
- Assist with departmental and museum special events
- Ability to coordinate and implement diverse activities simultaneously
- Participate in Tech professional development programs

Requirements:

- College degree in Instructional Design, Education or equivalent
- Teaching and program development experience required
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting for PCs and Macs
- Ability to communicate and work well with all age groups
- Bilingual is desired
- Enthusiasm for working in an environment committed to learning and providing
superior guest experiences

Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills

Hours: Full-time, exempt
