Two lengthy lists of rail museums in North America and beyond are at the
National Model Railroad Association site

the first go to the tourist sites links by state. Of course one of the best
is the Museum of Transprotation in St. Louis where I am the webmaster. We
are at www.museumoftransport.org, where I think you will find the kind of
programs you are looking for.
