Manager of Membership and Annual Giving

The Montclair Art Museum  located in Montclair, NJ, has an immediate
opening for a Manager of Membership & Annual Giving. This is a full-time
professional level position responsible for the design, management and
implementation of all aspects of the museum's membership and annual giving
programs. Reporting to the Deputy Director for Institutional Advancement,
the MMAG's responsibilities include but are not limited to: organizing an
annual direct mail campaign; developing year-round point-of-purchase
promotions; writing solicitations & acknowledgments; organizing member
events; preparing articles for the member newsletter; organizing fall and
spring annual appeals;  supervising fulfillment; recruiting and training
volunteers; maintaining donor gift records; overseeing data entry and
coordinating bimonthly meetings of the Membership Committee.

B.A. with minimum two years related experience in a development office,
preferably in the arts. Candidates must posses excellent writing,
communications, computer, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work
well with key staff, trustees and volunteers is essential. Experience in
direct mail marketing and with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge software is a
