The Queens Library in Jamaica, New York has 2 exciting internship
opportunities availble:
GALLERY INTERN
Unique opportunity to work in small fast paced gallery environment
participating in all aspects of research, development and installation of
diverse museum quality exhibitions.
Upcoming Exhibitions Include:
* Drawings from The Museum Of The City Of New York
* Rare Books and Maps from The National Library Of China
* Original exhibition of contemporary women artists
We are seeking an Art History student to work 1-3 days per week. Hours are
flexible and internship may be credit eligible.
GALLERY EDUCATOR INTERN
This is an excellent opportunity to:
* work in an innovative Gallery Education Program with a diversified
public audience
* develop a new Teen Docent program
* participate in Gallery Education initiatives
This is a part-time (approx. 15 hrs/week) stipend position for a graduate
student in Museum Studies. Hours are flexible and the position will
continue through June 2000. Internship may be credit eligible.
