For further information on learning in museums, you should look at the
Museum Learning Collaborative (MLC) site at http://mlc.lrdc.pitt.edu/mlc/
This is an ongoing project, with annotated references to the literature.
Course syllabi are also included that "emphasize museum learning and a
socio-cultural approach to research in museums." See also the discussion
of the MLC in the Conference abstracts of the 1999 Visitors Studies
Association 12th annual conference, included in Informal Learning, no. 37
(July/August 1999).
