Perhaps the line between roadside attractions and museums is
not so clear as we would like to think.
For instance, the Butler-McCook Homestead in Hartford, CT is
a darn good historic house museum, professionally staffed,
with fine collections both 3-D and 2-D (McCook Papers).
Among all the fine objects in the collection are several
oddities, such as the McCook childrens' vaccination scabs.
Do any of you have collections without weird stuff that
someone thought worth keeping?
