Contrary to some responses, I do think the events in Richmond have a
bearing on the museum community. After all, what entities deal more with
public memory? Perhaps the orignial posting was rather vague, but it was
too much to include in an email. Accoringly, I submit the webpage for the
Richmond Times-Dispatch. It has some up to date info. on the canal walk
controversy and examples of the other murals, which incidentally do include
canal history photos as someone suggested they should.
