We recognize faculty-of-the-year as determined by the staff (1) with a
small solo exhibition; volunteer-of-the-year as determined by the staff
(1) with a certificate and double-credit for their hours; and for
staff...the Executive Director tends to give individuals very public
kudos for the project with which they are associated, and gives some
unexpected time off. Occasionally gifts are given on a personal basis
(from the Ex. Dir. to the staff member) but it is not formalized.
Sometimes the individual's direct supervisor will throw a small cake
party amongst the staff to recognize an achievement. Our administrative
staff is so small that an "employee of the month" program would be
pointless.
