I started writing a note about funeral draping when I realized I was
writing about the Lincoln funeral.  If you'd like to see how the funeral
draping was done at some of the cities the procession went through get
"Lincoln" by Philip Kunhardt (and two other Kunhardts).  The funeral
chapter has enough photographs to give you an idea on how to go about
draping your buildings and also cover columns (a la candy stripe).
