The International Classroom program of the University of Pennsylvania Museum
of Archaeology and Anthropology is seeking a program coordinator. The
coordinator is responsible to the Assistant Director for Education and
carries out fund raising, grant writing and marketing; provides outreach to
school districts and community organizations; oversees office personnel,
volunteers, International Speakers and all aspects of International
Classroom's educational activities. Responsible for the quality and
implementation of ongoing programs and the development of new program
formats and initiatives. Monitors budget, record keeping and all related
financial materials.
College graduate, MA preferred with relevance to international relations,
anthropology, education, or archaeology. Experience and skill in funding
essential. Experience in education and public speaking necessary. Good
organizational and management skills. Proven supervisory and administrative
experience. Computer skills essential.
