Hello!
I have a rather specific question pertaining to cleaning agents in
collection vaults. The institution where I work experienced a fire, and
while the collection vault did not have any serious damage, it will need to
be cleaned before the collection returns to the vault (it was evacuated
immediately after the fire). Does anyone have any recommendations as to
which agents might be (or might not be) appropriate for use? The
collections in question are photographic, and I worry that some cleaning
agents might not be good for the area. If anyone has any recommendations or
discouragements, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks!
