Minnetrista Cultural Center and Oakhurst Gardens is seeking an
experienced
registrar who is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized with strong
computer software and database management experience (knowledge of ARGUS
is
a plus.).

Set on 35 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, Minnetrista Cultural
Center & Oakhurst Gardens is an indoor/outdoor center offering a wide
variety of exhibits, events and programs.  The history and art
collection,
established in 1987, consists of more than 12,000 artifacts and archival

material relating to East Central Indiana.

Responsibilities include the direction of all collections management and

loan functions, including insurance and legal arrangements, storage and
inventory of the permanent collections, temporary and traveling
exhibitions, creation and maintenance of object and loan records and
files
as well as rights and reproductions.

Successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in American history
or
museum studies; and a minimum of three years museum registration
experience.
