The National Capital Campaign is responsible for raising the funds necessary for
the construction of the National Air and Space Museum's Dulles Center. The
incumbent serves as the principal office secretary, providing support to the
National Capital Campaign Manager, Development Supervisor, and Development
Specialists. The incumbent actively participates in the management of the
office, providing administrative and clerical support and continuous attention
to both day-to-day needs and the long-range goals of the office.
Qualifications:
Qualified typists required
Knowledge of office procedures and practices
Skill in coordinating the clerical and administrative work of an office
Ability to compose and edit correspondence and other documents
Knowledge of the variety of formats required for budget preparation,
external correspondence, reports, memoranda, and forms
Ability to compose and edit correspondence and other documents
Ability to communicate orally with a wide range of individuals
Knowledge of travel procedures
Ability to establish and maintain filing systems
