The Bennington Museum is engaged in a capital campaign at this time.  The
goal is $2 million and it will result in a considerably expanded and
renovated institution.  This may be a bit small for your definition of
"major" but I am happy to bring it to your attention and would be pleased
to provide more information if you wish.  We have raised $1.6 million and
construction is underway.  Scheduled completion for the building part is
May , fund raising will probably continue.
