Hi Jim,

Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario Canada offers the most comprehensive
Museum Studies course in Ontario. It has been around since 1971 and has
just recently split into two different courses: a 2 year diploma for
students coming from other Colleges or Universities, and a 3 year diploma
for students straight out of high school. Here is the link to both pages:

http://www.algonquinc.on.ca/algweb/academic/index.html then choose
Full-Time Programs, then Alphabetically they are listed under Applied Museum
Studies (2/3 yr). Sorry, there is no direct link.

These courses offer studies in Registration, Conservation, Archives, Exhibit
Design, Exhibit Construction, Mounts, Educational Programming etc. It also
includes internships at museums in order to gain practical experience.
