Greetings,

Next year the U.S. Mint will issue a commemorative Virginia quarter.
Governor Jim Gilmore has asked Virginians to vote for one of four Virginia
designs for one side of the quarter. The four designs are the Jamestown
quadricentennial, the Colonial Williamsburg Capitol, Thomas Jefferson's
design of the state capitol and Mount Vernon.

If you feel the Jamestown design will enhance public awareness of the
founding of Jamestown nearly 400 years ago, or want to know about the
commemorative coin program, send your comments by June 4 to: Susan F. Dewey
at [log in to unmask] or Virginia Department of Treasury, Attn:
Commemorative Coin Program, P.O. Box 1879, Richmond, Virginia 23218-1879.

To learn more about the planning of the observance, contact Celebration
2007, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, P.O. Box 1607, Williamsburg, Virginia
23187, or at its web site http:/www.Jamestown2007.org, where you may also
vote for the Jamestown design.
